Amplify your bobs with Great Lengths extensions

Amplify your bobs with Great Lengths extensions

French, Italian, Old Money, Blunt, Micro…While they’re never really out of style, bobs are having a moment, with celebrities including Ayo Edebiri, Hailey Bieber and Rochelle Humes all wearing versions of the cut.

Our social feeds are full of chin-skimming styles and Influencers have been quick to jump on the trend, showcasing how to achieve flawlessly flicked bangs and luxe volume at home.

Volume and Movement
The most coveted bobs right now combine volume and movement, with soft texture that keeps that style from feeling too angular. And while there’s a bob to suit most client’s hair types and lengths, how best to achieve that full, bouncy finish if your natural hair is anything but?!

Great Lengths Volume
Available in a wide range of shades and lengths, Great Lengths extensions blend seamlessly with natural hair and are the ideal way to add natural-looking volume and texture, with no risk of damage. The first extensions brand to receive B Corp certification, Great Lengths offer two application methods – pre-bonded and GL Tapes – and the finest quality, ethically-sourced double-drawn hair for luxurious and long-lasting results.

Sophie Moulds GL Bob - www.salonbusiness.co.uk@sophiemoulds with hair by @vickydemetriouhair

Vicky Demetriou, award-winning Great Lengths Extensionist based at Larry King, recently used extensions to transform influencer Sophie Moulds’ new shoulder length bob.

‘Bobs are always here to stay. This season, we’ve seen a lot more volume and movement on the top of the bob, so with Sophie, we just put an extra row of GL Tapes in either side of the hair, keeping it quite low just above the ear to give it that thickness and that strength through the bottom, leaving the top so you can flip if from side to side. If you find that your hair is that little bit thinner, you could always just add a couple of tapes through the temples on either side and that will give you that really strong line and thickness in the front that just amplifies the bob,’- says Vicky.

Grow Salon Profits
In addition to their transformative abilities, offering Great Lengths as a service in salons can boost revenue and attract a whole new client base. Adding extensions for volume can take as little as 30 minutes yet increase the average client bill by a significant margin, creating huge potential to grow salon profits. Additionally, Great Lengths offers a comprehensive support system to salons, including education, marketing materials, and ongoing customer support. By becoming a Great Lengths certified salon, hair professionals can tap into a lucrative market and unlock a world of endless possibilities for their clients.

Donate Worn Extensions
Great Lengths is also the first extensions company to achieve B Corp status, a reflection of the company’s dedication to using business as a force for good, aligning with rigorous social and environmental standards. The brand’s partnership with the Little Princess Trust was also an industry first, allowing clients to donate their worn hair extensions, once removed, to the charity who use the hair to make wigs for children and young people experiencing hair loss from cancer or other illnesses.
