Headmasters Crosses the finish line
Sam Robinson

Headmasters is getting creative in their fundraising efforts for the good cause MacMillian Cancer Support.

This year they have undertaken numerous activities, and organizing adventurous activities not only helps raise money but also fosters a sense of community within staff. Such initiatives can go a long way in supporting those in need and promoting a culture of giving back within the company.

FOUR COMPLETE THE LONDON MARATHON
It was an incredible Sunday for four Headmasters team members, as they completed the iconic London Marathon. Running 26.3 miles Sian Couldridge, Sandev Chopra, Chloe Griffin, and Nicole Goddard represented Headmasters for Macmillan. All four team members felt proud to cross the finish line. Headmasters Chief Operating Officer, Laura Geary was there on the sidelines cheering and supporting the team encouraging them all to the finish line. The team managed to raise an outstanding £12,800.

MACMILLAN MIGHTY HIKERS – 1st June
The Headmaster’s newly appointed Directors and Head Office team will be walking half a marathon on the 1st of June as part of the mighty hikers. The team of 10 is currently in training participating in lunchtime walks and are getting their steps in daily to build up to the event hoping to raise over £2500.

RACE DAY BLOW-DRY BAR 18-21st JUNE
After the success of last year, Headmasters will be ‘re-opening’ their pop-up Blow-dry Bar for Ascot races on 18-21 June at the prestigious Great Fosters hotel in Egham. Ascot has become famous for its hairstyles and fashion, for those who want to look and feel their best headmasters are hosting a pop-up for hotel guests to create beautiful up-dos and glamorous blow-dry so they can step into the races in style. All proceeds from the blow-dry bar will be donated to fundraise for Macmillan and hoping that we will beat the £2000 raised last year.

A LEAP OF FAITH
Not wanting to be outdone the team at Headmasters Bromley High-street has five brave team members who are preparing to take a leap of faith put aside their fears and skydive out of a plane. They have been busy raising funds by hosting weekly bake sales to raise money that Clients can enjoy with their complimentary hot drinks in the salon during their appointments along with individual fundraising from friends and family. This looks set to be an amazing fundraising year for Headmasters, the second year for Macmillan.

Macmillan have been the in-house charity of Headmasters since 2023. They have so far raised over £24,000 for the charity.
