Nurses Day
Hardworking nurses were treated to a day of pampering at the award winning Mark Leeson Hair Body and Mind salon as the culmination of the Nominate a Nurse Campaign.
The campaign invited the public to nominate a special nurse or carer who had touched their lives.
It received a flood of nominees from around Nottinghamshire who were all put into a draw to receive a free makeover at the salon. The 10 lucky winners received expert hairdressing from the Mark Leeson team and a range of beauty treatments from massages to facials and pedicures.
As each guest left the salon, they were presented with a bottle of wine and a range of chocolate goodies, generously donated by Marks & Spencer, Mansfield and a beautiful posy of flowers from local florist Goldsmith Flowers.
Mark said: “This has proven to be such a worthwhile campaign and we’re thrilled to be able to give something back to such special, deserving people in our community.”
