Celebrating talent
High vaulted arch ceilings flooded with LED colour and candle lit chandeliers created the perfect setting earlier this month to announce the winners of the 14th Charlie Miller Achievement Awards.
Recognising hard work, performance and client service throughout 2013, 23 awards were presented to rapturous applause from the glam hairdressing audience at the Ghillie Dhu in Edinburgh’s West End.
The Charlie Miller group enjoyed a 10-hour celebration that included a four-course dinner and tombola draw. Then the evening’s host Radio Forth Presenter and DJ, Grant Stott performed his internet hit That’s Fife – a musical tribute to Fife and a cover of That’s Life.
The Grand Prix Award for Outstanding Hairdresser of the Year was given to a delighted Salon Director, Amber Lennie and a 20-year long service award was affectionately presented by Charlie Miller to Salon Director, Richard Beggs.
