Breast cancer education charity CoppaFeel! is launching a world first in conjunction with Paul Mitchell Luxury Hair Care  – a magical hybrid of the much-loved silent disco and a 5 or 10k run. You bring your headphones, they bring you epic live DJs to tune into as you run, jog, walk, shimmy or swagger your way around the course. It’s really just a rave to an awesome soundtrack, except you’re doing the running man the whole time!

This is CoppaFeel!’s first step into staging their own outdoor, mass-participation event, which takes place on 22nd May 2016 at the Hop Farm in Kent. CoppaFeel! patron and Radio 1 DJ Greg James is curating the event and lining up a set to end all sets.

Paul Mitchell Luxury Hair Care is proud to be the headline support for the event, with a team on-hand to add a splash of glitter while styling up on-trend boxer braids.

Director of Publicity for Paul Mitchell, Zoë Vears said: “Paul Mitchell has been proud to support CoppaFeel! for almost three years now. Kris and the team are tireless in their efforts to raise awareness while still having as much fun as possible, something perfectly summed up by Silent Disco Dash.”

Charity CEO and founder, Kris Hallenga said: “Expect bubbles, glitter canons, high-fives and more surprises to be revealed on the day. And at the end? You cross the finish-line a verified disco-champion and the party continues with killer DJ sets, awesome food and epic prizes for the best fancy dress. And the best part? You get that mighty smug feeling for doing something great for charity.”

The Paul Mitchell team will be offering complimentary styling to help get participants and spectators alike get into the disco groove. Other team-members from Paul Mitchell will also be making a ‘tit’ of themselves taking on the Disco Dash course to raise funds for CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! aims to stamp out late detection and misdiagnosis of breast cancer by ensuring that young people get to know their boobs. They’re also the brains behind London’s sell-out music festival Festifeel and veterans of the festival scene, who’ll be bringing serious disco expertise and a lot of boob-love to the day.
