Supercuts seeks UK’s top ‘squad’
Leading high street salon brand Supercuts is searching for a friendship group whose #SquadGoals rival the likes of Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne to become the next face of the brand in a national campaign.
Supercuts has teamed up with TIGI and is calling guests to compete for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – as well as a VIP photoshoot worth over £5,000.
The winning squad will be whisked off to TIGI’s iconic studio in Battersea, London for an A-list hair and beauty makeover from Supercuts’ style team including creative director Kieron Fowles, an exclusive studio photoshoot, a goody bag of TIGI products and an overnight stay in the capital city.
What’s more, the team will also see their final campaign shot launched on Supercuts’ website and social media channels this autumn.
“The #SquadGoals phenomenon is massive right now and it really resonates with our core customer group,” said Jenny Smith, marketing manager at Supercuts. “With social media playing such a big part in the salon industry, we wanted to give our guests the chance to shape the brand by expressing their style and ultimately becoming the face of Supercuts online.”
Supercuts #SquadGoals competition coincides with the launch of the brand’s new collection, Fuse. Kieron Fowles added: “The Fuse collection takes inspiration from the ‘it’ crowd that everyone wants to be a part of. Each of the members brings their own style influenced by trends, music, fashion and sub-culture – and together they make a power group with the most enviable #SquadGoals. Through this competition, we want to discover the next generation of trend leaders with their individual style and personality.”
Friendship groups can enter the #SquadGoals competition on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter by posting a photo of them and up to five other friends, tagging @SupercutsUK and using the hashtag #SquadGoals. Entry is open until Friday 30 September.
