SS Daley launched his first solely female edit at London Fashion Week SS25, with notable attendees including Harry Styles, Anna Wintour and Emma Corin.

His first exclusively female collection is a craft-driven exploration of the point where the codes of men’s and womenswear overlap. Think: strict tailoring meets splashy florals, starched shirting teamed with ceramic jewellery, and tuxedo bib pleats found on gathered dresses.

The collection is inspired by the British artist Gluck who would paint floral arrangements for her girlfriend and lover, Constance Spry. Their mutual adoration for each other resulted in a passionate affair and becoming each other’s muses in the early 1930’s.

Hair lead, Anna Cofone, brought her stylistic mastery to the show using premium vegan haircare brand Authentic Beauty Concept to support the overall look.

Anna Cofone, Global Creative Advocate for Authentic Beauty Concept explains the hair: “We explored the duality of the painter and their uniform with the way they would present themselves and the subject matter, which is markedly more feminine and light. With this in mind, we created two distinctive looks to emulate the contrasting characters and enhance the pieces in the collection – one look is masculine – inspired by Gluck’s beautifully groomed hair and the second – more feminine and whimsical – but with beautiful movement and sculpted shapes.”

Get The Look
1. Hair is prepped with Nymph Salt Spray – roots to ends – rough dried. This is to create texture and a strong foundation before setting the hair with waves and small tongs.
2. Taking different sized sections and directions, hair is sprayed with a fine mist of Working Hairspray before setting hair with waving irons.
3. The detail around the hairline is created with small tongs to create a more defined shape.
4. Once set, hair is then brushed into sculpted shapes with textural points of detail.
5. To finish, clean fly aways with Glow Spray Serum sprayed onto comb.
