Hair Rehab London Announces New Brand Ambassadors
The award-winning hair extensions brand Founded by Lauren Pope has today unveiled five Brand Ambassadors. Each talented individual has been carefully selected to spearhead the new Ambassador Programme, which seeks to acknowledge and elevate leading stylists within the industry.
The Team
Curated by the Hair Rehab London team, the new family of Ambassadors have been chosen for their expertise, creativity, and drive within the hair industry. Each also shares a passion for the Hair Rehab London brand and will help to drive forward excellence within the hair extensions/enhancement category, including scouting for future rising stars.
Elite Community
Best placed to promote innovation and creativity within this rapidly developing space, Brand Ambassadors gain access to Hair Rehab London’s elite community, with first- look access to new products and tools, enabling each individual to scale their work to new heights.
The first Brand Ambassadors appointed are;
Gill Rock of award-winning salon In the Pink, Hertfordshire
Based in Hoddesdon, Gill first attended the Hair Rehab London Academy in 2019 and went on to win Hair Extensionist of the Year at the British Hair & Beauty Awards in 2020 and 2022.
Commenting on her relationship with the brand, Gill says:
“Working with Hair Rehab London has been a game changer for us as a salon… We now attract a whole new clientele that know us for our standard of work. We’ve used many companies for hair over the years but after discovering Hair Rehab London, we’d use no-other because it helps us to achieve top results. The opportunity to team up and become Brand Ambassador is an unbelievable honour that we are delighted to have been chosen for.”
Abbey Laird of Luxe Studio, Derbyshire
Abbey Laird also trained at the Hair Rehab London Academy and went on to open her own salon, an ambitious move given the impact of Covid-19 on the industry. But a move that paid off, as she reflects on her new role;
“It’s been a great journey, from the initial training with Hair Rehab London to launching and growing my brand, where I use the products daily. Its’ filled me with confidence and now, being selected to be a Brand Ambassador has felt like a wonderful natural step for both myself and Hair Rehab London as we work more closely than ever and look ahead to an exciting future.”
Lauren Lally of Love Locks, Manchester
Rounding up the trio of female-owned businesses named as Brand Ambassadors is Lauren Lally of Love Locks, Worsley. Lauren opened her salon this year and has commented that her new Ambassadorship has felt like a real reward to her hard work;
“Since picking up the keys to my new salon last year, the last 12 months have been such a whirlwind, so the nomination and subsequent selection as a Hair Rehab London Brand Ambassador has been the icing on the cake. I’ve been in the industry since the age of 16 and this feels like true acknowledgement for all of the hard work and effort that’s gone into my business.”
As well as the three Ambassadors above – which each went through the selection process devised by Hair Rehab London, the brand has appointed two addition Ambassadors from a commercial background. Session Stylists Shannon JJ Williams and Alan Kitrell move forward as Ambassadors, in collaboration with the brand.
Shannon JJ Williams, Session Stylist
Known to many as Australia’s leading Hair & Makeup Artist, Shannon JJ Williams is a skilled Session Stylist that will diversify the portfolio of Hair Rehab London’s clientele.
Alan Kitrell, Session Stylist
London-based Editorial and Commercial Stylist Alan is best known for his work with ASOS and brings with him a wealth of commercial experience. Commenting on the new recruits, Hair Rehab London Founder Lauren Pope spoke of her excitement for the brand, which has grown exponentially since its launch in 2007; “This is an exciting time for Hair Rehab London as we continue to grow and expand. We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to such talented individuals and look forward to seeing what great things they will achieve as part of the Hair Rehab London family.”
CEO Helen Pope added; “We’ve been on a journey with our trade family throughout the last couple of years, having witnessed and experienced the impact that the Coronavirus Pandemic had. Now, it’s uplifting to see so many emerge stronger and busier than ever, and it feels right to launch the Brand Ambassador programme at this time. Our goal is to raise the profile of not only these wonderful extensionists, but of the industry as a whole.”
Ambassador Programme
Trade Manager Lauren Wheatley works closely with hairdressers and salons and has spoken about how the new Ambassador Programme will help stylists fulfil their full potential; “The ambassador programme provides members with a range of additional benefits and support over and above their trade account offering, helping them to achieve their creative potential, whilst driving forward the business of Hair Rehab London. There are great opportunities for members to collaborate on photo shoots, events and social media campaigns. They have been selected for their ability to inspire others and drive innovation within the hair community.”
