From the beginning of the Paterson SA story in 1988, the vision has always been at the heart of the salon group; ‘A group of individuals with one shared goal, a love of their craft and art, working together as a team to educate, motivate and inspire everyone who visits the salon.’ To this day, this vision has always stayed the same, resulting in the team celebrating 30 years of business and success.
Marking The Occasion
To mark the occasion, the team designed a unique Paterson SA book, to honour George, his work and the team. The book not only shared the history of Paterson SA, but also his awards, accolades and photographic work from both George and the team throughout the years. A very treasured and memorable work of art.
Art Work
A short film was also created and unique window displays to celebrate the fantastic achievement. Clients who visited the salon on the week of the anniversary were also given Paterson SA Anniversary chocolates with their salon refreshments.
An Exclusive Party
As a final celebration the team held an exclusive party at Edinburgh’s bespoke cocktail lounge Juniper, then on to a meal at The Voodoo Rooms, to mark the occasion of 30 years of success. The night was filled with much emotion and delight having reached a fantastic milestone, with the entire Paterson SA team sharing their stories and experiences of the years whilst dancing the night away.
Never Forgotten
George was at the top of his game and having completed a tour of Australia with three team members he fell ill and after a short, bravely borne illness he passed away in October 2004. A very bright light went out within the Paterson SA team and hairdressing industry, one that will never be forgotten. It was George’s wish for the Paterson SA name to carry on, and as hard as it was, this has been achieved to great success. His vision was and still is at the heart of Paterson SA, and celebrating 30 years of the group is an incredible testament to George.
