R+CO LAUNCH EDUCATION 2017
On February 20th R+Co launched its’ first creative course in the UK, ‘PARK AVE Styling,’ presented by R+Co Global Artist Jason Hall, at Marylebone, central London.
The class mastered the fundamentals in the foundation of great hairdressing, a belief that has kept the R+Co founders, Howard McLaren, Garren and Thom Priano, at the top of their game for decades.
‘PARK AVE’ Styling saw attendees learn how Garren perfected his unique blow – a core element of his work, whether he is on set or working with his elite Fifth Avenue clientele. The class followed by demonstrating key texture techniques.
Jason Hall, R+Co Global Artist, travelled to the R+Co New York studio during 2016 to spend time with the collective, Howard, Garren and Thom, to design and create classes that reinvented the way hairdressing is taught, while simultaneously maintaining the creative process, sources of inspiration with a pool of references.
R+Co Global Artist, Jason said: “At the very core of hairdressing is the culture of education, our launch class, PARK AVE Styling, seen our attendees break it down, mess it up, and master their craft.”
