Portsmouth based salon Your Hairdressers is a new concept that’s like hot-desking for stylists. Co-Director Liam Fry explains that it aims to give them a salon space and an opportunity to take the next step in their careers while making more money and choosing their own hours.
Why Was It Founded?
The average hairdresser 1) Gets paid one third of what you pay the salon. 2) Works set hours with little flexibility. 3) Does not get enough in-house education. 4) Can only grow so much within the salon. 5) Is searching for something to inspire them.
