TREND 3 – Re-Rooted, Inspiration:
Re-Rooted is a trend for the strong, aware and empowered. It is centred on the concept of telling personal stories. It explores those who let the stories of yesterday shape, inform and define the stories of today; who revive their roots through personal reinterpretation. Following people who embrace their unique heritage and values and how they use and share their learnings to help inform and guide their community.
Trend 3 – Re-Rooted Catwalk Look, Samira:
Re-Rooted is all about accentuating and enhancing, tailoring the hair in terms of texture, colour and cut. The Re-Rooted Catwalk Look sports textured disconnections with heavily personalised face-framing that feels tailor-made. Cut by Tyler Johnston, who defines the look as a “layered out, textured haircut with a cool-girl fringe.”
Coloured by Lesley Jennison, the Re-Rooted Catwalk Look embodies a deep, earthen brunette, accentuated by cherry tones.

Trend 3 – Re-Rooted Salon Look, Sarah:
The Re-Rooted Salon Look showcases rich, dimensional shades. With hints of natural, cool and mink tones – beautifully illustrating high-shine, luxe refinement. Cut by Christos Michailidis, who says the look is a “modern classic.” Featuring “beautiful face-framing pieces combined with a luxurious finish.” Christos’s layers create body and airiness, whilst the carefully constructed face-framing sections add perfect volume. Coloured by Ashlee Norman, using traditional techniques to create high-resolution, low-maintenance results; with beautifully natural-looking, cool mink tones.
Trend 3 – Salon Service, #FoilayageMelt:
Delivering the same softness and blend of balayage and open-air surface painting but with a traditional foiling technique, the Foilayage Melt Colour Service uses a series of balayage-like interlocking triangles pivoting around the head. Each triangle is broken into two foils; the top foil mirrors the effect of surface painting, whilst the saturated ends of the second give an ombré result. Ashlee adds, “I used over-direction forward when applying the ombré ends so that they followed the crest of the face-framing pieces, creating a perfect synergy between cut, colour and most importantly, individual.”
