Project X FOCUS
Lisa Farrall’s Project X have had a jam-packed couple of months, from HAIRCON to preparing for their upcoming photoshoot, it’s been non-stop!
The team kicked off the month with Award Winning Hairdresser and the Fellowship Executive Board’s Head of Textured Hair Innovation, Junior Green.
Junior Green
He’s an award-winning Hairdresser in West London. He is recognised as a formidable force on the UK hairdressing scene and, during a career spanning 34 years, he has received several accolades which include British Afro Hairdresser of the Year, Stylist of the Year and was part of the Styling Team of the Year.
Mash Creative Studios
The team travelled to Mash Creative Studios in London to spend the day with Junior, who presented a Masterclass on silk wrapping afro-textured hair. Junior’s mastery in working with diverse hair textures was evident as he shared invaluable insights and techniques tailored to our unique needs. Junior provided a demonstration for the team, explaining in detail to intricate technique to silk wrapping afro-textured hair. The afternoon was reserved for letting the team get to work and put into practice what they had learnt in the morning, working in pairs to work on their models.
Well Spent

Efi Davies
Project X then spent the day with Toni&Guy’s International Artistic Director, Efi Davies. The team travelled to the Toni&Guy Academy in London to spend the day with Efi Davies, alongside Darja Laett & Yui Tateno.
Avant Garde
The days focus was all things Avant Garde. The day started with the team walking into a studio full of the most amazing hair creations and costumes created by award winning stylists and a full explanation on how they are created! Followed by Efi and her team re-creating and explaining their current collections and how they were created with such generosity and passion! Efi shared all her tips and tricks to creating Avant Garde looks, demonstrating and showcasing her skills for the team. The day came to a close with the team being given the chance to experiment with wig caps and hair mats. An inspiring day for all!
Unforgettable Experience
