PICTURE PERFECT
The National Hairdressers’ Federation has launched the 13th edition of the prestigious Photographic Stylist Of the Year competition.
Now open for entries, competitors are able to showcase their styling skills and techniques through the submission of an image that’s suitable for the front cover of the NHF’s salonfocus magazine.
To enter the renowned competition, talented stylists at all levels have until 8th September 2017 to submit either one image or a collection of images to an appropriate category. The finalists for each category, who are selected by an expert panel, will be announced on 22nd September. The winners will be revealed at the NHF’s prestigious 75th Anniversary Business Awards being held in Birmingham on Sunday 19th November 2017.
The categories for the Photographic Stylist of the Year 2017 competition include:
- Male Fashion Look (students and trainees)
- Male Fashion Look (open to all)
- Male Fashion Collection (open to all)
- Female Fashion Look (students and trainees)
- Female Fashion Look (open to all)
- Female Fashion Collection (open to all)
NHF president Agnes Leonard said: “The Photographic Stylist of the Year has been designed to inspire stylists. It provides a unique platform for exciting talent in our industry to be noticed and boosts reputations and careers, while additionally providing great publicity for a salon. Last year’s Photographic Stylist of the Year competition was a big success with over 200 entries across all categories, so we’re looking forward to seeing even more cutting-edge entries in 2017.”
