Emilio Cian, a talented stylist from the Edward James salon in London, has been named as the UK
winner of the 2020 Aveda Digital Fashionista Awards for creating a striking hair image that would
make an impact trending on social media.

Social Media Inspired

Following the success of its inaugural event last year, the international digital competition sees
stylists showcase their artistic talent by sharing a social media trend inspired image. The total look
encompasses, cut, colour, style and make-up, allowing them to express their true Aveda style, their
love for Aveda and their commitment to the Aveda mission.

Virtual Ceremony

Emilio received the accolade at a virtual ceremony after being judged by top UK industry media professionals. His winning image was created with Aveda products, showcasing his
artistry and personal interpretation of the brief.

The Winner

As well as gaining the title, each regional winner (from APAC, UKI and EMEA) receives an incredible opportunity to advance their career and social media impact, including a photoshoot in London with coaching from an Aveda mentor and a social media workshop with an industry expert.
