‘At Rainbow Room International, we are communicating on many levels. We have a WhatsApp chat with all of the Directors of the salon, whereby we are in constant contact with each other every day. We are also in contact by email and if any documents or letters need to be communicated to all stall, then we are able to share this with the Directors who can then email their staff directly. We also hold regular conference calls on Zoom. What we have found with all of this electronic communication is that we seem to get more done than if we were all sitting in a room together (as we usually do each month), as you have to stick to the point.
As well as us having a WhatsApp group with all the Directors, the Directors and each salon also has their own WhatsApp chat. This allows the team to contribute to ideas and also helps to keep the whole groups sprits up.
Facebook Group
One of our team also set up a Rainbow Room International team Facebook group, where all salons and team members can share videos and forward on Tick Tock videos. This is great as it allows the salons to communicate with each other and it has created a salon group community. It’s like a community within communities’, Linda Stewart.
