Christmas is the perfect time to play with festive reds and evergreens to create a Christmas colour through the hair. Pulp Riot Artist Verity Waite (@verityofthevanitybox) explains how to use the contrasting tones for a festive feeling.

1 Divide the hair down the centre into two sections and leave a money piece free.
2 Apply Pulp Riot Absinthe into Absinthe with Area 51 on one side (green)
3 Apply Fireball into Fireball and Blush through the other side (red)
4 Through the money piece create a candy cane look with Fireball and slices of Mercury, running Fireball through as a wash so it’s not too stripy.
5 Blow-dry smooth then tong through the midlengths and ends for soft waves. Gently pull back the front and secure with a Christmas bow.
