Easydry has appointed Angela Byrne as general manager to take over responsibility for the day-to-day running of the company, freeing up its creator Anne Butterly to focus on product development and international expansion.
Angela, who has previous management experience with big international brands including DHL and Siemens, has a strong grounding in the hair industry, and has worked for Easydry for the past seven years. She was the brainchild of the company’s recent creation of a Towel Hygiene Mark of Assurance, allowing partner salons to show clients their commitment to spotless standards of towel hygiene.
Angela said: “It’s a really exciting time for the company as we’re taking our products, along with all their hygiene and eco benefits, to new sectors and new territories around the world. The Easydry brand is going from strength to strength and we have some fantastic projects lined up for 2014 and beyond. I’m delighted to be able to play a major role in that.”
