Discover INDOLA’s latest Street Style Collection with two brand NEW must-have looks for a new season
With the sun trying to break through the clouds and a new season slowly creeping up on us, it feels like the perfect time to experiment with a stunning new Street Style collection from Indola. Spring is on the way and it’s time to recharge the batteries and life creativity. The new season brings two new looks – The French Bob and The 70s Copper Shag – these two inspiring looks debut as uplifting mood-boosters and brighten the atmosphere with their nostalgic holiday spirit. Rewind to retro and let the vintage tones blend with multi-dimensional hair colour of timeless brown and prepare to be amazed as strawberry copper delivers a contemporary and elegant twist to the street style looks.
The French Bob
Ashy hues compliment this timeless brown with a vintage undertone inspired by the classic Parisian chin-length cut. The “woke up like this” cut, chin-length hair with medium long fringe tailored by short graduation at the back adds a touch of effortless French chicness.
To enhance the synergy of hair colour and haircut a two-tone global application is used in a cascaded colour placement technique. Styling with balanced volume and natural texture help to achieve the ‘woke up like this’ look. On the fashion side, a retro orange blouse with wild botanic print, combined with blue gingham checked pants – provide the perfect clash of patterns for spring!
The 70s Copper Shag
Different shades of red and copper are drawn through the hair in soft colour gradients to enhance the copper sheen and to give the look added depth and lightness. The copper-strawberry hues celebrate the variation of depths and tones, with subtle placements adding texture and liveliness to the classic shag.
With a long fringe, the heavy internal layers release weight and add airiness to the hair. The wild texture and voluminous movement on the top and reducing volume on the sides is also a statement in itself. To complete the look, combine an acid green blouse with a simple top and skirt to give an extra pop of colour and edge.
Paddy McDougall
Global Ambassador Paddy McDougall gives his insight on the new Street Style looks, “For Spring 2022, we wanted to place emphasis on enhancing natural hues and tones, adding nuance and intensity of shine and depth. This is so important this season, colours need to look and feel multi-dimensional, we achieve this by layering complementary but distinctive shades together. I think what’s great is with both looks you can really see the power of pushing an individual’s look further. For me it’s this level of customisation that is so important in terms of both, creative and commercial growth.”

Commenting on Indola’s latest Street Style Collection, Indola’s Global Ambassador Andy Smith says “This collection says hello to a new retro, vintage vibe. I wanted to bring back the French bob but with a twist, on top of a long-graduated bob I left a long veil to break it up, then styled in a few bends and soft pieces to accentuate the cut and add that glam vintage vibe. The 70s Copper Shag is a modern take on the mullet. I added shattered broken edges, internal heavy layers, a heavy fringe. I then worked in old school curls, dishevelling them sand shaking them out, creating volume in some areas but then flattening others.”
