Colour World Genius Awards Winners 2024
The 6th annual Colour Genius Awards, held in conjunction with Colour World 2024, honoured the brightest stars in the hair colouring industry.
The highly coveted awards recognised exceptional talent across 10 categories, with top Colourists competing for the prestigious titles.
The Esteemed Winners
They were bestowed with Colour Genius status and will be featured on www.colourworlduk.com, participating in events, podcasts, and features throughout the coming year. Each Winner proudly took home a unique trophy, redesigned annually to embody the spirit of the ‘genies of the lamp’. This year’s captivating hurricane lamp design follows previous iterations, including a lava lamp, oil lamp, Tiffany lamp, angle-poised lamp, and lightbulb.

The 2024 competition saw an overwhelming response, with over 400 entries submitted across various colour work categories.

Entrants submitted photographs or films of their work, which were meticulously assessed and judged by a distinguished panel of over 36 renowned Colourists from the UK and international arena.
A Vibrant Celebration of Colour
The live awards final took place on Sunday, 19th May, at the Colour World venue in Bermondsey, London. Hosts Nicky Pope and Ellie Scott were joined by Jack Howard to present the awards, including the inaugural Hall of Fame trophy, which was awarded to Casey Coleman in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the industry.
Fizz Filled Reception
The evening began with a complimentary fizz drinks reception in the outdoor bar, where Entertainers Sugar & Sax set the festive tone. As the awards ceremony concluded, the celebration continued outside where Guests and Winners raised their glasses in a toast to an unforgettable evening celebrating the art and passion of hair colouring.
