Colours
Us Colourists will be updating our colour palettes in 2024 to include punchy oranges, gradated blues, shades of green, multifaceted lavenders, and organic neutrals. The once one-dimensional lavenders have been transformed into multifaceted tones that shimmer and change with movement. Oranges are a vivid, daring colour that represents confidence and fearlessness. Gradated tones give blues a new depth and mystery that reflects the ocean’s mystery. Organic neutrals provide an earthy yet sophisticated look by acting as a balancing force amidst the brightness.
Cuts
In 2024, disconnected haircuts will become popular as people look to avoid traditional looks in favour of more dynamic, multifaceted looks. These cuts give the hair a sense of movement by carefully combining textures and angles. A bold yet friendly look is produced when sharp edges are contrasted with softer textures or contrasting lengths within the same style. This skilful use of geometry gives the haircut a touch of artistic flair.
