About Megan

Megan created a well-balanced overall look with body and volume throughout the hair, and a good finish to the hair including shine on blonde hair which is not always easy to achieve.
Other first year finalists included Danii Doodle, who created a modern take on a classic look with a good overall finish and suitability, and Leah Ritchards, who produced a soft editorial look that showed good control of the hair and an overall fashion look.

Second Year Winner

Second year winner Stevie Carnevale earned her win with subtle, tasteful colouration and soft well-finished styling. Second place Mollie Dougherty showcased well finished hair with balance and good use of styling products. Third place was awarded to Georgia Brooke who displayed skill with a strong coordinated look.

A Word From Andrew

Programme founder Andrew Barton said, “We are all incredibly proud of the students who took part in the mid-year project and how they have already shown skill and development within the course. This really demonstrates how ABLE works in harmony with the NVQ, delivering skills to support the industry.”

About The Site

The ABLE website provides information about this unique training programme plus gives access exclusively for member colleges to a series of training videos and information designed by Andrew to provide in-depth training to all aspects of salon employment – from greeting clients and conducting a consultation to understanding how to run a column as well as the technical ability required to create a perfect blow-dry and offer styling techniques. The website and programme is designed to support college education and provide students with the finishing skills they need to work in a salon.
