The partnership reflects a shared ambition to elevate standards and recognition across the industry.

Remi Cachet has joined the British Beauty Council as a Patron, with founder Victoria Lynch also taking a position on the organisation’s Hair Committee, signalling a continued push for higher standards and greater regulation within the hair extensions sector.

The move brings Remi Cachet’s expertise in the luxury human hair extensions market to the forefront of industry-wide conversations, particularly at a time when demand continues to grow rapidly. While the global hair extensions market is projected to see significant expansion in the coming years, the sector has historically faced challenges around transparency, regulation and consistent ethical practices; issues both organisations are committed to addressing.

As the industry body focused on shaping policy, education and professional standards, the British Beauty Council plays a key role in representing and advancing the sector at a national level. Its work aligns closely with Remi Cachet’s own ethos, which centres on ethical sourcing, transparency and professional application.

“The partnership reflects a shared ambition to elevate the category. As the leading name in hair extensions, Remi Cachet has long advocated for professional application, championing trained stylists and promoting the importance of high-quality hair that is ethically sourced with fairness and integrity. These principles also underpin our B Corp certification. This partnership reflects a shared ambition to elevate standards and recognition across the industry,”
– Victoria Lynch, Remi Cachet Founder.

The appointment also sees Lynch join the British Beauty Council’s Hair Committee, where she will represent the growing extensions category and contribute to ongoing discussions around regulation, education and best practice.

British Beauty Council CEO Millie Kendall OBE welcomed the collaboration, highlighting the value of Remi Cachet’s expertise.

“We are delighted to welcome Remi Cachet to our network of Patrons and are looking forward to working together to champion excellence within the sector. The demand for high-quality hair extensions and wigs continues to grow, and it’s incredibly valuable to have a brand so dedicated to innovation, education, and raising professional standards. We also share a strong commitment to sustainability, recognising the importance of responsible sourcing, ethical practices, and reducing environmental impact as the industry evolves,”
– Millie Kendall.

By joining as a Patron, Remi Cachet positions itself alongside other leading voices working with the British Beauty Council to drive progress across the industry, with a focus on improving trust, quality and long-term sustainability in the hair and beauty sector.
