OSMO appoints expert Global Educator, Lesley Stitt

OSMO appoints expert Global Educator, Lesley Stitt
Sam Robinson

With over 40 years of experience Lesley Stitt, OSMO Global Educator and owner of Power Cuts started her own business in 1989. Lesley’s passion for hair started at a very young age – as a child she would paint her doll’s hair with boot polish! Lesley just knew she would always work within hairdressing and hair colour.

Moving Into Education

It was only once Lesley had already carved out her career within hairdressing and had her own successful hair salon that she moved into education. Inspired by an educator who had come into her own salon, Lesley wanted to share her own struggles she had overcome in understanding all the technicalities of applying hair colour. Lesley wanted to be the person that hairdressers could open up to and feel safe asking any question, so utilising her own expertise, Lesley progressed to become an educator.

Her Travels

Lesley’s education roles took her all over the world, working as an educator for manufacturing companies, distributor roles and international art teams. With over 25 years of industry experience under her belt, this led to Lesley heading up education globally as part of the OSMO team in 2019. As OSMO Global Educator, Lesley’s role is diverse in working with both OSMO Ambassadors, wholesalers and distributers globally.

Why OSMO

Lesley was drawn to working with OSMO not only through a genuine love of the quality and variation of their product ranges but also the brand’s ability to listen to their brand experts and customers, using their feedback to channel new product development and launches. Lesley comments “I’m absolutely thrilled and excited to be part of the OSMO team, to me it feels like a family. I’ve never come across such loyal, talented and passionate people – I’m forever feeling like a proud mum!”
