EXTENSIONS EXPERTS
A new specialist award has been created by the team at Good Salon Guide to recognise skilled extensions artists across the UK.
The Extensions Artist award is available to any salon in the UK who offers a hair extensions service that meets the stringent criteria set up by experts at Good Salon Guide, in conjunction with Lisa Brady, of Monroe Hair & Beauty in Southwick Square, Southwick.
Lisa has been a five star salon member of Good Salon Guide since 2015 and, in that time, has established an outstanding reputation as an extensions specialist.
Not only has she been involved in developing the criteria for the new award, but she has become the first hair salon in the UK to gain the extensions artist status.
Gareth Penn, Managing Director of Good Salon Guide, visited Lisa’s salon to present her with her award and congratulate her on the outstanding achievement. Now Gareth and Lisa will be hosting a special launch party to officially put the award on the map and introduce the concept to all other salons.
Gareth explained: “Through its existing rating of high quality hairdressing salons, Good Salon Guide has developed the Extensions Artist award to highlight those specialists who are highly trained, experienced and use high quality hair. Every Extensions Artist must have at least five years hands on experience and use only the best quality human hair giving the clients the confidence that they will get the hair and look they want.”
For Lisa, being the first UK Good Salon Guide Extensions Artist and Ambassador is a real honour and she is planning an amazing party at her salon for the launch.
She said: “We are thrilled that TV star and former TOWIE cast member Amy Childs will be joining us as she has long supported our extensions business. Also attending will be Stuart Hatton, current holder of the title Mr Gay UK which is great news because as a business, we are massive supporters of Gay Pride.
The party will also offer a chance for us to demonstrate how our extensions work with former X Factor contestant, Chloe Jasmin, among our celebrity models.”
