Entries are now open for the International Visionary Award 2026, returning bigger than ever as one of the industry’s most prestigious global creative competitions.
Founded by Alternative Hair Show President Anthony Mascolo, the award continues to champion originality, artistry and technical excellence in artistic hair design. Now in its third decade, it remains a standout platform for hairdressers looking to showcase bold creative vision on an international stage.
The 2026 finals will bring together some of the most visionary talent in the industry, celebrating innovation across three key categories: Cut & Colour, Men’s and Avant-Garde.
Open to hair professionals worldwide, the competition is designed to spotlight the next generation of talent combining technical skill with pure creative expression.
Alongside its creative focus, the International Visionary Award also supports an important cause. Proceeds help fund leukaemia research through the Alternative Hair Charitable Foundation, ensuring the event continues to make a meaningful impact beyond the stage.
The entry deadline for 2026 is 4 August 2026.
