Barrie Stephen’s Legally Blonde theatre pop-up
As official sponsors of award-winning musical Legally Blonde, Barrie Stephen and the BStyled team added their special red-carpet touch at the recent press night as it officially opened at Leicester’s Curve Theatre.
It wasn’t only the West End and Broadway hit show that guests and the local press could look forward to, as Barrie and the team put on a pop-up salon pre-show in the foyer, where three hair stylists and a nail artist were on-hand offering glamorous services and styling to guests as they waited for the show to start.
Ladies could have their nails painted pink, complete with a Chihuahua nail transfer in honour of the famous dog Bruiser from the show. On the hair station, men were treated to a quick trim or refresh whilst women were given glamorous curls and sleek styles. Each guest to the pop-up salon were also gifted a Barrie Stephen goodie bag full of Schwarzkopf Professional and Kerastase products, complete with a Legally Blonde nail file. The team were also joined at the salon by one of the stars of the show; Gaga the Chihuahua, one of the dogs playing Bruiser. She attracted a lot of attention as passers-by stopped to take photos with the furriest member of the cast!
Legally Blonde, based on the 2001 film, began on Broadway in 2007, later hitting the West End in 2010. The show is now in Leicester at the Curve Theatre until Saturday the 14th of May, starring former X-Factor star Lucie Jones as Elle Woods and Hollyoak’s Danny Mac as Warner Huntington III.
“What a fabulous night!” says Barrie Stephen, “I absolutely love being involved and sponsoring this fantastic show. I love supporting the Curve and of course, I was proud to see the incredible BStyled team making the guests look glamorous ready for show time!”
