During the Photographic heat 96 competitors in the Young Talent category and 79 in the Color category across UK and Ireland have been selected from an esteemed panel of industry judges to showcase their work in a dazzling competitor catwalk evening show at the Regional Finals.
Judges for the Young Talent Category included Darren Ambrose, D&J Ambrose; Jake Under, HOB Academy; Nicky Clarke, Nicky Clarke; Martyn Holmes, Strangeways and Angelo Vallillo, Zullo & Holland. The Color Category judges were Brendan Fowles, Daniel Galvin; Claire Chell, Francesco Group; Hugh Campbell, Hugh Campbell Hair Group; Caroline Spencer, Sassoon; Leonardo Rizzo, Sanrizz and Jayson Gray, Toni&Guy Academy. They were joined by a selection of Editors from the industry’s leading trade publications – including Salon Business of course.
Providing a chance for salon teams to go along and cheer on the finalists, the Regional Heats are an ideal chance to be inspired with the latest creative cut, colour and styling trends by the best in hairdressing.
The UK Regional Heats will feature Bruce Masefi eld and Edward Darley who will present the latest Sassoon collection and there will be exciting shows from industry icons Bruno Marc and Dan Spiller from Marc Antoni, and Leonardo Rizzo and Sharon Cox from Sanrizz, not forgetting the Competitors’ Parade. All those fortunate to make it through to the Regional Heats will be hoping they will wow the judges for a chance to make it through to the all-important UK and Ireland Final, which takes place on Monday, October 6 2014 at the Roundhouse, Camden, London.
