After an intense audition process, the new members of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s 2022 ClubStar Art Team have been chosen.

12 Finalists

The 12 finalists worked on a live model, and presented their mood board and inspirations to a panel of judges – Grace Dalgleish from Brooks & Brooks, Simon Tuckwell and ClubStar Art Team leader, Karoliina Saunders. The new Art Team members have an exciting year ahead of them, with mentoring sessions, networking opportunities and educational workshops.

Choosing The Winners

Karoliina said: “When it came to the scores it was so close, and we had a tied sixth place. So, we decided to make the team seven for 2022! I am so looking forward to working with such a talented team in 2022”.

Inspiring

New member, Zoe Leaves, commented: “The Fellowship for British Hairdressing was the first thing I heard about when I got into the industry. It inspired my apprenticeship and my love for competitions and to be part of this Art Team is amazing.”

Stepping Out

Victoria Hughes added: “I’ll bring a lot of fun and laughter and determination to the team. I love working in the salon, but the ClubStar Art Team will give me an opportunity to step out and do something else. I would love to get more confidence to go on stage, to do photoshoots and explore teaching and hope to do this in 2022.”

The 2022 ClubStar Art Team are:

James Farrer – TONI&GUY, Victoria Hughes – Melissa Timperley Salons, Joshua Easter – VAE Hair, Abby Quinn – Karoliina Saunders Hair Design, Sam Bickle – Urban Edge Shenfield, Jacqueline, Kankam-Hoppe – Karine Jackson Sustainable Hair, Zoe Leaves – Zoe Leaves Hair
