Salon Business Awards 2017 finale - SalonBusiness.co.uk
Last night the Salon Business Awards 2017 welcomed over 200 guests at the elite Century Club, a luxurious haven, hidden behind an expansive door on London’s Shaftesbury Avenue.
With canapés and an abundance of aperitifs on offer on the exclusive rooftop terrace, the finalists were in good spirits to celebrate the most outstanding business models, stunning salon design, first class education, strong team work and much more over the past 12 months.
As the sun went down, guests were invited downstairs to the Green Room where exposed brick walls, decorative lighting and solid wood floors created a warming atmosphere.
It was here that Joanne Charlton, Publishing Editor of Salon Business, introduced the awards to an excitable crowd, eager to hear who had wowed the judges.
“Each and every finalist helped to make the awards what they are today, ensuring the bar is raised year upon year. They certainly gave the judges a tough job, and now it is time to announce the awards,” said Joanne.
There were 12 categories including Best Local, Creative and Education Salon, with two bonus awards presented to the small to medium and large salons that shone through across all areas, including creativity and marketing.
And the winners are…

Once the awards were over, DJ Krystal Roxx created the entertainment all the way from Ibiza, while those looking for a more chilled out close to their evening headed back up to the roof terrace to enjoy the warm evening breeze.
Speaking after the awards Joanne said: “It was a huge success and a great atmosphere. There was a great blend of networking with fellow peers, having fun and of course celebrating the winners – all of whom were truly deserving with phenomenal entries of an extremely high standard. We hope to see them and the finalists back next year along with a host of new entries.”
