TrichoCare Education has a triple celebration

TrichoCare Education has a triple celebration
Sam Robinson

Not only has TrichoCare’s 100th Student recently qualified as a Trichologist this summer, but they’ve also achieved the highest accolade from their most recent External Quality Assurance visit.

Testament to TrichoCare’s exceptionally high standards, the results of a recent External Quality Assurance (EQA) visit carried out by Awarding Organisation, iTEC, have deemed its education to be ‘Very Low Risk’. The rigorous iTEC External Quality Assessment demonstrated the outstanding standards TrichoCare Education is outputting, proving that it continues to deliver robust, quality-assured, and impartial education.

Lowest Risk Rating
“This is the lowest risk rating that can be achieved, so we are delighted with this news. Our team work exceptionally hard to prepare our Students for a career in trichology and this result validates our exceptional standards,” says Alison Asbury, Head of Learner Experience.

Student of the Year
Other good news includes the VTCT /iTEC Student of the Year award going to TrichoCare Education student, Hayley Channon. More than 500 nominations were received for this year’s award, which Hayley proudly credited the team at TrichoCare Education for all their support. Brian Plunkett, TrichoCare’s Head of Education and Board Member of the Association of Registered Trichologists, says: “It was an honour and a pleasure to be part of Hayley’s personal journey to success. Every Learner is special, and we pride ourselves on delivering a fully regulated qualification which gives our Learners the accreditation to practice as qualified clinical Trichologists.”

TrichoCare Education has a long history, spanning over two decades, of providing high quality education, and now there are 100 fully qualified Trichologists helping those with hair and scalp concerns.

Centennial Student
Hairdresser Claire Gould is the centennial student. “I loved it. I really enjoyed the learning. It took some juggling to fit studying in with my business and family life, but I was absolutely determined to see it through to the end. The course is really user-friendly, especially if you’re a Hairdresser. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to put all my principles and passion into practice; supporting Clients with chemotherapy hair loss and advising all those out there who are desperate for help.” she says.
TrichoCare is fully endorsed by the Association of Registered Trichologists (ART) and successful Candidates are eligible to apply for membership of this leading professional body.
