A vegan haircare brand that embraces a sustainable approach without ever compromising on product performance. Proudly made in Italy using locally sourced ingredients, the products have been made embracing the world of green chemistry. This focuses on developing chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use or generation of hazardous substances, making them efficient, effective, safe and more environmentally friendly. There are four main care lines: Daily, Glossy, Hydration and Recovery. There is also an in-salon line for customisation and a line to create the finishing touch for a perfect look.

Why:

More than 90%* of the brand’s ingredients and all fragrances are of natural origin. The formulas are without sulphates, silicones**, synthetic colourants, petrolatum, paraffins, mineral oils, BHA and BHT. The rinse off formulas of the shampoos, conditioners and masks are also readily biodegradable. The formulations are also designed with a water-saving approach – from a solid product that minimises water content in the formula, to products that require less water during rinsing, thanks to a new 100% natural origin surfactant. There is also a focus on packaging with reduced environmental impact including recyclable glass, recycled plastics, recyclable plastic and recyclable paper. Benvoleo is produced using 100% clean electricity from renewable sources, natural gas with offset CO2 emissions and a closed-loop cooling water recovery system.
