#SBAWARDS 2022

#SBAWARDS 2022 Grand Final

The Salon Business Awards competition 2022 saw 14 salons and three individuals scoop both National and International awards at an iconic London final.

The winners were selected following a 6 month-long competition that saw the elite of hairdressing pit themselves against their peers after what has been a very horrendous two years.

Salon Business Publishing Editor Joanne Charlton said: “This was the biggest and best SBAwards Grand Final yet. It was fantastic to bring the elite of the industry together in fantastic surroundings, with inspiring entries, fine wine, and first class entrainment from No 1 Saxophonist Brendan Mills.

“Each of the winners represent the dedication and passion that make this industry so great to be a part of.”

The winners are;

Joanne Charlton welcomed the crowd as images of each of the 111 finalists flashed on the screen, then it was time to thank the judges and announce the winners. Joanne was joined onstage by Remi Cachet’s Victoria Lynch, Kao Salon Division UK’s Julie Winchester, Vin+Omi, CleanIt’s Becky Travers, Unite ambassador Narad Kutowaroo, Joico’s Vicky Brown, Salon Europe’s Jane Wanniaratchy, Schwarzkopf Professional’s Ed Mosley, iSalon’s Mike Waldon, Indola’s Richard Thomasson and multi-award winning Andrew Barton.

The awards would not have happened without the unwavering support of all of the individuals and salons that entered the competition and the sponsors including Schwarzkopf Professional, Remi Cachet, Joico, Paul Mitchell, iSalon, Unite, CleanIt, Kao Salon Division and Indola, who also contributed generously to the SBAwards Goody bag making it the best one yet.

JUDGES

Salon Business Awards

Salon Business Awards recognise talent on an epic scale. Over the last nine years, SBAwards have encouraged and rewarded talent across the UK and the globe, with international category Global Stylist.

Entry is exclusively online, and each of the judges are highly respected to judge the salon and individual categories that cater to talent across a variety of areas – including freelance artist category, Solo Artist of the Year.

Winners of previous years have not only enjoyed being crowned the best among their peers, being able to talk to their clients about the awards, appearing in local and national press, gaining ambassadorships, but also being a part of this international competition and a high octane Grand Final to boot.
