Salon Business Awards 2020 open for entries
Do you want to reward your team, put your salon in the limelight with the potential for a host of PR opportunities and take your staff on an epic team-building night out?
If yes, you need to enter Salon Business Awards 2020.
There are two NEW categories for 2020, including the first ever international category Authentic Stylist and Curl Specialist for those talented in the craft of curly hair.
Meanwhile, the Salon categories aim to reward the efforts of every single person on the floor including owners, managers, stylists and receptionists. Subjects include Education Salon for those with a cracking training plan and Colour Salon for those who dedicate a high percentage of their services and education to colouring techniques and inspiration.
If it’s male grooming you’re good at, then we have the category by just that name. We’re looking for salons that can show their worth in doing all they can for their male clientele – we’re talking entertainment, refreshments, interior design…the list goes on.
When we’re not hearing news about the booming male market it’s sustainability, which we have a category for in Green Salon. Or if you can balayage with your eyes closed and you want to establish your salon as the colour experts, Colour Salon would be the category for you.
The pinnacle of all the salon categories, Ultimate Salon, is open to all finalists or every category – so if you shine in all aspects of your business but you don’t quite take the top spot in your chosen category, you still have the chance to win.
Where to start? Have a read through the entry pack on the right, and browse the entry form or download it for later. Then when you’re ready you can start your entry by clicking on any of the categories on the right. Or by clicking right here. You don’t have to fill it out in one go either, once you save it you’ll be emailed a link to pick up right where you left off.
Category focus: Retail Salon
The winner of our Retail Salon category will have outstanding retail sales (as a percentage against turnover). UK based salons that offer hair services can enter, and must provide evidence of their consistently high retail sales.
“To have won and finalised for these awards is unbelievable and myself and the team are truly delighted. To be recognised for these awards is such an honour and really great for our salon. What a fantastic first half of 2019! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for our salon.” Karen Thomson, Owner of KAM Hair and Body Spa
The Salon Business Awards just got bigger and so has the party! After a sell out in 2019, the Grand Final is moving to Mayfair to takeover the extravagantly adorned Quaglino’s.
Mere steps away from London’s Green Park tube station, this is set to be a night to remember. The free moving format is set to stay as we know you love it, but the stage is bigger, the networking fuller and the partying harder, so put the date in your diary today.
Save the date: Monday, June 8, 2020 6pm Quaglino’s, Mayfair, London
The deadline for entry into the Salon Business Awards is March 20, 2020
Up until that point we’ll be sharing tips on how to make your entry stand out, what previous year’s winners are up to and sneak previews of what the SBAwards Grand Final has in store.
