Maintaining vibrancy for colour clients is always important, but especially during the festive season when the weather gets colder and harsher on your client’s hair. 

Home Hair Care Routines
Take the time to guide and educate your clients, they will appreciate that you have gone to the extra effort to educate them and give them advice to preserve their colour. Discuss the importance of maintaining hair colour during the autumn and holiday season and offer advice on products, treatments, and at-home care to help clients preserve their colour.

The right shampoo and conditioner can also make the world of difference, make sure it’s colour safe and specifically made for prolonging the life of hair colour. Therefore, its best that clients try to avoid washing their hair with water that’s too hot and use warm water instead to preserve hair colour for longer.

Lastly, even in Winter when the sun is shining less, it is still important to use UV Protection to avoid damaged hair. Always ensure your clients not only have Heat Protection products for styling within their routine, but also UV Protection too.

Encourage Touch Ups
My last quick tip is to recommend to your clients to get regular trims and professional touch ups to make their colour last through all the festive season.
