Safy B Colour Trends 2023

Safy B Colour Trends 2023
Sam Robinson

2023 is the year that the world has come back alive, a year that clients are becoming their own individual selves again and ready to experiment and embrace their own creativity – with colour at the heart of every change. As a colourist, this really makes me happy and I am delighted to see some new trends come to the table for 2023.

Seamless highlights

For those who want something more subtle and for those who are looking for an introduction to colour, this is one trend that is here to stay. Taking the colour higher to the root and mixing with a balayage, this will allow a seamless blend and prevent a harsh regrowth. Teasing the roots is the technique you want to use here.

Warm Blondes

It’s time to warm up the palette and think ahead to summer. A rich, warm golden glow is what blondes are after this year. Think a gorgeous honey blonde, something subtle but full of warmth.

Glossy Brunettes

Consumer colours as you can tell are a huge trend for 2023, and glossy brunettes are one of them that will really give that luxurious feel. From dark ash tones to a rich golden brunette, the gloss is the key trend here. Think maximum shine!

The Vivid Green

Of course with colour trends there has to be vivid trend, and for 2023 green will make a real statement. From bright and beautiful to a soft pastel tone, think jewelled green or mint as inspiration.
