Look 1: The Artisan Craft

A multi-dimensional blonde brought to life with different hues of pastel blondes, combined with a soft razor cut, microbraids and rough fishtail styling.

Method:

Cut:

STEP 1: Section the hair as shown
STEP 2: Comb the hair down straight and trim the ends
STEP 3: Razor cut random strands on top to add texture
STEP 4: Use a razor to layer the front of the hair
STEP 5: Dry the hair and personalise the front layers afterwards
STEP 6: Tousle up the hair to check if it has received the desired texture

Colour:

STEP 1: Section the hair as shown
STEP 2: Start the application at the front of the hairline, working towards the parting by foiling
tightly woven sections
STEP 3: Work upwards from the hairline to the front parting by alternating between Colour A and B
STEP 4: Work the back and middle sections by freehand painting, alternating between Colour A and B
STEP 5: Let it develop for 45 minutes then rinse off and towel-dry the hair
STEP 6: Tone the length horizontally section by section
STEP 7: Alternate between Colour C, D and E. Let colour develop for another 15 minutes before rinsing off
STEP 8: Wash and Care with BLONDE EXPERT INSTA STRONG SHAMPOO and SPRAY CONDITIONER

Styling:

STEP 1: Apply ACT NOW! VOLUME MOUSSE
STEP 2: Blow-dry the hair with a medium-sized round brush
STEP 3: Use two different sized tongs and alternate the directions to create natural texture
STEP 4: Fix the waves with INDOLA FLEXIBLE HAIR SPRAY
STEP 5: Clip back the right side and braid a small fishtail behind the ear
STEP 6: Use INDOLA VOLUMIZING POWDER to tousle up the fishtail braid
STEP 7: Now loosen the clips, comb the side hair tightly backwards and clip it tight
STEP 8: Take random sized sections and micro braid to add personal touches, secure with
small bands or for a more discreet look, back comb the ends to hold

Look 2: The Rusty Texture

A genderless, overgrown disconnected cut that is styled with natural disruptive waves. The creative placement and application of different rusty tones enhance the textured look.

Method:

Cut:

STEP 1: Cut hair to desired length beforehand then section the hair as shown
STEP 2: Start at the back section and cut the hair vertically parallel to the head shape
STEP 3: Work your way around the complete back section
STEP 4: Connect the sides horizontally below the ear
STEP 5: Pointcut and connect the top section 90 degree to the head with the sides
STEP 6: Cut fringe into desired length
STEP 7: Personalise the cut, reducing the weight by slicing the hair. Personalise the shape but do not connect the lines keeping a three-tiered effect – Fringe, sides and base for a cool vibe

Colour:

STEP 1: Divide the hair into 5 sections
STEP 2: Work section by section using a weaving technique
STEP 3: Alternate Colour A, Colour B and Colour C. Leave a gap of about 1 cm between the foil
STEP 4: Work your way through the 5 sections
STEP 5: Apply the front section last
STEP 6: Now apply Colour D on all remaining hair
STEP 7: Let develop for 30 minutes and rinse off thoroughly
STEP 8: Now apply Colour D for root shadowing and Colour E on mid-length's and ends to refine the result
STEP 9: Let develop for another 20 minutes before rinsing off. Wash and Care with ACT NOW! COLOR SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER

Styling:

STEP 1: Apply INDOLA CURL CREAM for definition
STEP 2: Next apply INDOLA STRONG MOUSSE on the top to create more volume
STEP 3: Squeeze the products into the hair to encourage natural texture
STEP 4: Twist, curl and then clip the hair in random sections for a more distorted shape
STEP 5: Blow-dry the hair using a diffusor
STEP 6: Remove the clips and finish the hair with ACT NOW! NON-AEROSOL HAIRSPRAY
