Award-winning stylist and salon owner, Joseph Ferraro, has been named as the ambassador for Authentic Beauty Concept.
About Joseph
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Joseph has been based in the UK for 15 years. In that time, he has developed a well-earned reputation as a creative, inspirational hairdresser with a generous approach to education. Based in the elegant spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Joseph owns two eponymous salons, with a team of 15 stylists and colourists. As well as putting the area on the map with his acclaimed salons, Joseph confirmed his status as the region’s go-to hair expert when he won North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
Industry Regular
Away from his business, Joseph is dedicated to education and developing his skills across all areas of hairdressing. A former member of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s prestigious F.A.M.E. Team, Joseph continues to mentor young hairdressers through the organisation’s education evenings and live shows. He is also a regular on stage at high-profile hairdressing events including Salon International and Pro Hair Live. Joseph also works backstage at London Fashion Week, and is a regular on shoots, shows and sets across the country.
