Fleur East Gets A Bad Apple Summer Makeover
Bad Apple Hair, the award-winning salon group with eight salons across the Midlands, was delighted to welcome singer and TV star Fleur East to its Birmingham Bullring Topshop salon last week. Fleur, who is a long-time loyal client of the salon group known for its experiential fashion-forward services, paid a visit to Bad Apple Hair Topshop, which is situated in Birmingham’s famous Bullring shopping centre, for a spot of well-earned pampering following her most recent award win, and to try out a new summer style.
About Fleur
Fleur East, who originally found fame as a finalist on ITV’s The X Factor in 2014, before carving a successful career as a singer and songwriter and more recently starring in ITV’s hit TV show I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here has been a loyal client of Bad Apple Hair for several years. Fleur is a regular client of James Earnshaw, Group Creative Manager of Bad Apple Hair, with James regularly joining Fleur on tour, and frequently styling Fleur for her countless TV appearances and editorial photo shoots. Fleur was paying an impromptu visit to Birmingham last week, having just days earlier scooped the award for Favourite Female TV Star at the Screen Nation Awards 2019.
A Trip To Bad Apple
While in town, Fleur chose to stop in at Bad Apple Hair’s Bullring Topshop salon for some post-award win pampering and styling. Known for delivering trend-led styles to a fashion savvy clientele, it’s no surprise that Fleur gave Bad Apple Hair’s talented team the task of transforming her colour in favour of a new, more seasonal shade, that would be ideal for summer. Left in the hands of Bad Apple Hair’s Group Creative Manager, James Earnshaw, and Bad Apple Hair Bullring Topshop’s Stylist and Colour Technician, Tarin Sawyers Scott, Fleur’s signature Afro mane was cut, coloured and styled into a directional new look. Together the creative duo teased Fleur’s natural curls into face-framing bangs and lifted her colour with a warm golden base and the addition of soft summery blonde shades through her ends.
Schwarzkopf Professional UK
Earlier this month, Bad Apple Hair officially affiliated itself with Schwarzkopf Professional UK, introducing its professional haircare, product and colour range across its salons, coinciding with Fleur’s visit and providing the team with the perfect opportunity to showcase this exciting new product line from the globally renowned manufacturer.
Signature Look
James Earnshaw, Group Creative Manager, Bad Apple Hair says: “It was a pleasure to welcome Fleur to our Bullring Topshop salon, to introduce her to its vibrant and dynamic team and let her experience first-hand the salon’s experiential style of service. I’ve been working with Fleur for many years now, entrusted with styling her signature look, and she’s a big fan of the Bad Apple Hair approach to styling – making cutting-edge trends wearable and relatable. Fleur is always willing to try emerging hair trends and new products, so switching up her hair colour for summer, using the very latest in colour technology from Schwarzkopf Professional, was greta and we can’t wait to welcome her into the salon again soon.”
