Daniel has been one of the world’s most sought-after colourists for 35 years and brought together a talented and experienced creative team at his Belgravia salon to provide clients with a level of service and experience rooted in Daniel’s own values. He is well-respected in the industry for his business acumen and hugely influential for long-standing eco-ethical values, which he implemented long before they became fashionable.
He has been patron to The Prince’s Trust which aims to help and improve young lives for the better, for 23 years. It gives practical as well as financial support by developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation building. It is through his work for The Prince’s Trust that Daniel has met Abigail, become her mentor and is helping her to build the business of Eleventh Hour Beauty.
The Prince’s Trust
Daniel says, “I was introduced to Abigail Fletcher by the Prince’s Trust at the beginning of the first lockdown at the point she launched Eleventh Hour Beauty, an online booking platform – just as all hair and beauty businesses were forced to close! I sensed her anxiety and fear but as I got to know her better, I realised she is a fighter – her business acumen, tenacity and resilience are second to none – and this is from someone who has spent over 20 years nurturing and helping young people from all walks of life with their fledgling businesses.
A Strong Concept
I really believe in her concept and will do all I can to help Abigail continue to succeed including utilising Eleventh Hour Beauty for our own business and promoting to our clients and friends. I’ve spent a lot of time during lockdown speaking with her across Zoom and know she will make this great business grow. And as soon as we can all re-open, I expect her full potential will be unleashed – and that’s why I’m happy to be an official Ambassador and Mentor. We have already been interviewed on the BBC and have an imminent feature in Hello!. HRH, the Prince of Wales will be enormously proud to hear of her success through uncertain challenging times with the support of his amazing charity, for without it I would not have been introduced to Abigail.“
Abigail says, “The contribution Daniel has already made is invaluable and the business is growing as a result of his expertise and foresight. On a personal level being able to sound out ideas with him and ask his advice has helped to grow my confidence and I know that Eleventh Hour Beauty can look forward to a strong and successful future.”
Daniel also supports The Prince’s Trust through the sale of his kids’ hair care range, Dubble Trubble, through key retail partnerships in the UK, US and Australia.
As well as his salons and private clients, Daniel has been a pioneer of the organic movement and in 2002 was personally asked by HRH The Prince of Wales to launch its Duchy Organics hair care collection. His passion for organic is also felt in salon where there is an array of treatments and products that are both sustainable and well-sourced.
To celebrate this exciting collaboration Daniel will be offering Eleventh Hour clients a number of very special gifts: Valentine’s and Mother’s Day Gift Cards featuring a discounted appointment at his Belgravia salon as long as the appointment Is booked via Eleventh Hour Beauty Opportunity to win Daniel Galvin Jr Organic Head vegan haircare products on @eleventhhour_beauty.
