Cos Sakkas wins International Hairdresser of the Year for the THIRD time
Presented by International Hairdressing Awards Founder Mikel Luzea and Global Ambassador Sergi Bancells, whilst he was working in Cyprus, Cos is the 1st Hairdresser to clinch the title three times.
TONI&GUY clinched two other awards; Efi Davies won International Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year with her HandMade collection, and Sam Elliott, who was named International Men’s Hairdresser of the Year with images from his Boys Don’t Cry collection.

“This is incredible, I am speechless, and I am honoured to win this again. This award isn’t just for me but for my family, my team Photographer Jack Eames, Lan Nguyen-Grealis on make-up and styling by Borna Prikaski, and the whole TONI&GUY global team. My Luminescent collection is super focused on hair and hair textures, keeping everything simple is my style with femininity through the shapes, but at the same time adding those little twists that make it interesting. Glittering Event
The winners have been revealed on a worldwide tour, where Mikel and Sergi have visited salons and Hairdressers to present the awards from LA to London and Sydney. Cos and the winners will now be invited to a glittering event in Lisbon on 29 April where he will walk the purple carpet as well as enjoy a catwalk presentation and dinner and pick up the Purple Lady trophy. The event is sponsored by Revlon Professional, Salon Look, The Hair MBA, Artero and Estetica Magazine.
