CHARITY TREK

CHARITY TREK
Rebecca Parker

The Affinage Salon Professional team trekked across the Brecon Beacons to raise money for The Hairdressers’ Charity.

The 15 member strong team, who aptly names themselves the SAS (Super Affinage Soldiers), spent an incredible eight hours trekking across the Brecon Beacons in Wales, raising in excess of £1600 for The Hairdressers’ Charity.

Head office staff from global haircare manufacturer Affinage, were joined by associates from Salon Supplies and CTC Hair & Beauty Supplies. The 16 mile hike covers extremely steep terrain and is a favourite of the SAS who use it as an assessment ground.

The fundraising event was organised by Affinage & ASP Brand Director, Philip Sharp, who also sits on the committee for the Hairdressers’ Charity.

“I am so proud of all of the Affinage team and Distributors who took part. Everyone was able to complete the challenge despite the weather which resembled the winter months rather than a summer’s day! This is our second walk now for the charity and once again the team came together to support this great cause,” said Philip.

Eric Bailey, Affinage Managing Director, also joined the group for the challenge.

“This has been an incredible experience and I am so proud of Team Affinage for all the training and effort they have put in to raise money for those less fortunate than themselves. As a company we are hugely supportive of The Hairdressers’ Charity and are completely committed to offering ongoing support,” said Eric.
