Session stylist Anna Cofone used Olivia Garden tools at Pauline Dujancourt AW26.

During London Fashion Week, hair visionary Anna Cofone partnered with Olivia Garden to create the hair direction for Pauline Dujancourt’s AW26 collection, ‘Walking on Eggshells’ at the NEWGEN Space.

The collection explored a deeply reflective narrative centred on womanhood, control and the historical persecution of women accused of witchcraft.

Drawing inspiration from writer Mona Chollet and the absence of public recognition for those affected by witch hunts, Dujancourt’s work sought to reclaim erased stories while also honouring the women within her own atelier and their collective craftsmanship.

That sense of restriction and release was carried through into the hair concept, created by Cofone using Olivia Garden tools.

The result was a striking duality: tight, controlled silhouettes at the front and sides, contrasted with a softer, matte, windswept texture through the back.

“The look today has taken inspiration from Pauline’s story of witchcraft and how women were controlled and restricted. We wanted to reflect that in the hair with really small, precise silhouettes at the front and sides representing restriction, conformity and control, and then through the back a more broken, matte texture representing breaking away from that control,”
– Anna Cofone.

Key tools from Olivia Garden included the Expert Care Oval Brush and Blend Brush, both used to refine shape and control without adding unwanted volume.

“The Expert Care Oval Brush helped us push the hair into shape before product application and then break up areas that felt too controlled so it could blend into the back. The Blend Brush was essential for building control at the front and sides, it allowed us to smooth and shape without adding volume, creating a clean, structured canvas,”
– Cofone.

By aligning Dujancourt’s detailed craftsmanship with a deliberately restrained yet disrupted hair aesthetic, the show delivered a unified visual narrative of strength, femininity and quiet rebellion…
