Applications for the life-changing 2025 F.A.M.E. team opportunity are now open. 

The initiative invites passionate Hairdressers to embark on a year-long journey of growth, creativity, and mentorship alongside some of the industry’s greatest talents.

Projects + Events
The F.A.M.E. Team, an acronym for Fellowship Academy of Merit and Excellence, is an annual initiative that selects a group of exceptional Hairdressers to participate in a wide range of exciting projects and events. From photographic shoots and fashion shows to masterclasses and industry gatherings, the chosen team members will have the chance to polish their skills, expand their networks, and shine on a unique platform.

Applications Open: April 22, 2024
Applications Close: July 1, 2024
Semi-Finals: September 9, 2024
Finals: October 21, 2024
Team Announced: December 2, 2024

Industry Mentors 
The F.A.M.E. Team experience is designed to shape careers and provide life-changing opportunities. Under the guidance of esteemed Mentors, team members will gain invaluable insights and skills that will propel them to new heights in their professional journeys. Previous Mentors have included industry Icons such as Cos Sakkas, British Hairdresser of the Year and International Hairdresser of the Year, and Marlon Hawkins, Artistic Director at Brooks & Brooks.

Developing Creativity
Aspiring F.A.M.E. Team members can expect an unforgettable year filled with incredible experiences. From working alongside hairdressing legends to participating in thought-provoking and educational activities, the team will have the chance to push their boundaries and explore their creativity in ways they never thought possible.

To Apply

• Interested Hairdressers must submit a maximum of six JPEG images showcasing their work.
• Along with a three-minute MP4 or MOV video introducing themselves, their passions, dreams, and style.

Applicants also have the option to share up to three additional videos:

• Highlighting their involvement, interest, or experience in the creative world of hair.
• Any projects they’ve worked on.
• Their hair work.

Please Note

• A project fee of £3,500.00 + VAT is payable by January 31, 2025*. (*Option for payment by instalment, subject to credit checks).
• Travel, accommodation, kit, and models are not included, although Sponsors may occasionally provide products on Project Team Days.
• To be eligible for the F.A.M.E. Team, Applicants must be a Fellowship Member and remain a member throughout their time on the project.
