WELOVE is an education collective from the award-winning Rae Palmer and is aimed at all hair professionals, ideal for those who are self-employed and/or have their own cabin or home salon. It’s a unique and holistic approach to education for individual stylists to develop their designer hair skills to be the best in creative and commercial hairdressing.

On-Going Development

The WELOVE Purple Hearts Masters education programme is aimed at providing hair professionals with on-going technical and business development, delivered by highly-qualified educators and guest artists.

Purple Heart Masters Degree Education

Rae says, “Polls show that over 60% of stylists are now self-employed and yet there is still a stigma that these professionals may not be as qualified or skilled as those fully employed, but we know that’s not true. Our Purple Heart Masters Degree Education allows all stylists to receive expert education in a format that suits them, from those who understand their business. We are also launching a consumer campaign to promote those who are working towards a Purple Heart qualification, attracting potential clients by demonstrating the skills and customer care commitment of each of our participating professionals.”

Three Tiers

Hair professionals can choose from three tiers of Purple Hearts Education, all of which run for a full year and are designed to suit different budgets, allowing the individual to develop at their own financial pace. In person education will be held at venues around the country, including London:

? 1 Purple Heart Masters: 2 hours of online education per week providing 78 hours for the year. £25.00 per month

? ? 2 Purple Heart Masters: Six in-person classes of your choice; 78+ hours of online education to watch at your own pace, access to International Days and 20% discount on partner products. £300 per quarter

? ? ? ? ? 5 Purple Heart Masters: This full package is a degree level in commercial and creative hairdressing, giving hair pros everything they need to know both creatively and to help build business. The Masters includes online education and 21 in person classes with weekly calls to an assigned mentor. In addition, these professionals will have access to a private support group available 24/7, take part in a photoshoot and attend a Graduation and Awards ceremony, plus VIP access to the International Days and benefit from extra classes with international colour expert, Carlo Oliveri and the WELOVE International Art Team. The current course has sold out, but places are available from March and June.

“WELOVE is created by UK hair pros coming together to share their knowledge, and I created the WELOVE Purple Hearts programme as I believe the industry needs change around the standard education models which have traditionally come from big product brands,” continues Rae. “Hair pros around the world will benefit by learning from those at the top of their game and who want to share their knowledge, with brand-neutral education.”
