Jamie Benny announced as new ClubStar Art Team leader
Jamie Benny has been appointed as new leader of the ClubStar Art Team for 2023-2024. Jamie, who is art director at Hare & Bone in London, will take over from Karoliina Saunders, who is now the Chancellor of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing.
F.A.M.E
Jamie has been involved with the Fellowship for many years – he was a member of the F.A.M.E. Team in 2016 – and feels passionate about giving young hairdressers opportunities to grow their hairdressing skills and industry knowledge.
Members
The ClubStar Art Team is designed for Fellowship members who are aged 16-25, and offers a 12 month mentoring programme that sees them meeting, learning and being inspired by some of the most exciting names in British hairdressing.
Mentor
Jamie says: “I’m truly excited and honoured to be a mentor for the ClubStar Art Team as I see it as an opportunity to share and help grow the future of the industry. I have been an artist who has been a mentor for the team for the past six years so to finally be their leader is amazing. I will do my absolute best to get the team the best days for their careers to blossom.”
