Sam Robinson

With just over two weeks to go until Salon International opens its doors, it’s time to celebrate the art, talent and community of hairdressing and shine a spotlight on the incredible line up of hairdressing icons who will be sharing their expert trends, techniques and tips in the Salon International Seminars.

Get up close and personal with the industry’s best educators, learn real takeaway techniques to use in your salon, and top up your skillset – from colour and cutting techniques, and dressing and styling tips, Salon Seminars are not to be missed!

Mahogany

Sunday, 10:15pm – 11:30pm
First up on the list are Mahogany, who this year will be staying true to their colouring ethos and showcasing their latest collection ‘Nouvelle Vague’. Inspired by the French film art movement Nouvelle Vague, the movement was characterised by its rejection of traditional filmmaking in favour of experimental, visual style. The Mahogany Creative Team will be demonstrating the paramount classic cutting and colouring techniques fused with an exploratory blend of invisible disconnection, internal texturising and colour saturation where tones clash, yet still mutually correlate.

Patrick Cameron

Sunday, 12.00 – 13.30pm
2021 is the 30th anniversary of Patrick performing at London’s Salon International. In this seminar, Patrick will be building on the international success of his “Education in Isolation” live broadcasts, presenting six beautiful step-by-step looks inspired by viewers’ choices of their favourite hairstyles from the past 80 weeks of the weekly show. Patrick will also be discussing how he transformed his business from travelling the world and educating in person, to setting up a studio and reaching out to many thousands of hairdressers with his unique brand of education. And that’s not all – Patrick will also share his experiences about what it takes to become a social media educator and influencer, sharing tips and pointers on how to achieve digital success.

Sassoon Academy

Sunday, 14.00 – 15.30
Sassoon Academy have been at the forefront of hair education for more than 65 years, and this year International Creative Director Mark Hayes will be presenting a new collection designed to showcase the depth and breadth of talent inherent in the Sassoon Creative Team. This seminar will take an essential look at the details and dynamics of the new cuts and colours that will define hair trends for the next season. The team will excite and inspire with their broad spectrum of ideas and inspirations in both cutting and colouring – Sassoon will continue to challenge, inspire and excite, uniting modernist purity with creative experimentation.

Toni&Guy

Sunday, 16.00-17.30
This seminar is the ultimate example of TONI&GUY’s inventive thinking, as the brand’s International Artistic Team exclusively introduce their latest creative education. An accumulation of inspiration taken individually from each Artistic Director, exposed through imaginative imagery that’s been created and photographed utilising an eclectic mix of free expression. The team will show you how they have embraced creative cut and colour, editorial influences, and a fresh, delicate approach to Avant-Garde to take on the industry’s biggest trends yet break it down into beautiful simplicity. Lose yourself in imagination and education, as the team demonstrate how to create an abundance of consumer friendly looks the TONI&GUY client loves, but still have that editorial edge the brand is legendary for.
