SAKS HAIR GUISBOROUGH GETS A NEW OWNER IN ITS 20TH YEAR
Experienced Saks hairdresser Sarah Ross has taken over as the new owner of Saks Hair in Guisborough. Sarah has been with Saks since she started her first hairdressing apprenticeship at Saks in Stockton at the age of 16. Over the years she’s also worked at Saks salons in Teesside and Yarm and now is the proud owner of Saks Hair Guisborough. Sarah has been managing the salon for the past year in preparation to take over as owner.
Sarah’s got exciting plans for the salon and has already started refreshing the salon interior with the new look Saks design. Sarah says: “It’s a brilliant moment to have my own Saks salon. Saks has been a part of my whole adult life, I’ve had an amazing time working for a brand with such high standards and I’ve made some lifelong friends along the way.”
Celebrating 20 Years
Sarah joins Debbie Passman who owns Saks Beauty in Guisborough and together they are celebrating as the salon is in its 20th year. Sarah and Debbie are a hair and beauty dream team, combining decades of hair and beauty expertise. Sarah says: “We run our separate businesses side by side and Debbie’s a massive support because she’s been here so long. She really knows the area and the people and everything about how the salon works. I feel like I’m not on my own as we always work together.”
How To Open A Salon
Saks UK Managing Director Stephen Kee says: “We always want to hear from stylists and therapists and business-savvy individuals wanting to open their own salons. With their skill and local knowledge, and our award-winning business model, they can be trading in record time. Existing salon owners can choose to convert their own salons to Saks, takeover an existing Saks salon or open a new one. If you’re interested, let’s talk.”
