Leader of the pack - Dwight Issacs launches Balmain in his salon

Date Added: 2010-05-14

After 19 years in the business and a stellar reputation Dwight Isaacs knew that when he opened his own salon, Dwight Isaacs, in Oxshott, Surrey, he could only offer the best. Therefore, when adding hair extensions to his already impressive menu the clear choice was to be Balmain: “My ethos is to always provide the best, therefore the reputation and quality of Balmain System Volume really appealed to me”, he explained when we chatted to him about the exciting new addition to the salon.

However, what he didn’t expect was the excellent after care service Balmain provided. To ensure long-term quality to their product Balmain offers a complete support package for salons: “We had two training sessions and I found them absolutely fantastic!” Isaacs enthused, “our trainer was so informative and it was great to get practice with her and have her answer all of our questions. My staff and I got a lot from it.”

His relationship with Balmain is so close that he has 'two or three people' that he can call up anytime should he encounter any problems – "including the original sales rep who sold them to me,” he adds.

The partnership is set to continue with Isaacs signed up for another training session, this time on the sales and promotion of the extensions: “I’m really looking forward to hearing more about the ingredients in the after-care products, I’ve already found it easy to sell them as they are of such high quality – they not only maintain your extensions but care for your existing hair also, however, the training session should hopefully help out even more with sales.”

Not that he needs it, since offering the extensions 3 weeks ago Dwight has already seen an increase in business with women flocking to him to give their hair a much needed boost, all with positive feedback: “I tend to ask clients to pop their heads round the door a week later so I can see how they’re getting on and so far everyone is happy.”
