MONAT Gratitude, the philanthropic movement behind MONAT Global Corp (MONAT), raised £200,000 through sales of its Helping Hand Gift Set sold earlier this year. 100% of net profits from the limited-edition sets have been donated to non-profit organisations around the world that empower at-risk youth through education, scholarships and mentoring programs.

“Gratitude is part of who we are, so we wanted to start the year off by giving a helping hand,” said Lu Urdaneta, Chief Culture Officer, MONAT Global. “Right now, it’s more important than ever that we come together and help those who need it most. All of the benefiting organisations are fully supporting their communities, and we are proud to make these donations, which were made possible by our Market Partners and customers.”

In The Kit

The kit featured MONAT products that were designed with giving back in mind, including MORE THAN A GLOW, MORE THAN A HAND CREAM, and a MONAT Gratitude branded cosmetic bag that included a nail file and nail buffer.

The MONAT Helping Hand Gift Set funds have been donated to the following organisations:

• Chance UK
• Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC)
• SOS Wioski Dziecięce (Poland)
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
• Horizons for Youth

Generous Donation

Anna Cronin Nowakowska, Partnerships Manager from Chance UK says, “Enormous thanks to MONAT Gratitude for the generous donation to Chance UK in our 25th anniversary year. This donation is making it possible for 130 vulnerable children to continue receiving life-changing mentoring and family support right now. While social distancing measures are in place, all mentoring is taking place remotely – over the phone or digital platforms. With your support we are also providing new resources so that children get the most out of those virtual sessions and can continue building their self-esteem and emotional resilience. As we recover from the current crisis and restrictions lift, we look forward to helping even more young children turn their lives around. On behalf of all the children and families we serve, thank you for making this possible!”

Local Support

“With the world very much focused on the global pandemic, it’s important that as a brand we are supporting charities on a local level too. We have actively been donating thousands of products to front line workers, but we are also aware that many charities are struggling as they cannot hold their usual fundraising activities. By being able to donate profits from our HELPING HAND GIFT SET to these 5 localised charities across the world, including Chance UK, means a lot to our customers and Market Partners, especially knowing the funds will help at-risk youths during this particularly difficult time,” concludes Ros Simmons, MONAT UK & Europe managing director.

Giving Back

MONAT Gratitude has been an integral part of the MONAT Global company culture since its inception in 2014. The values of gratitude and giving back have always been a high priority for the MONAT team. Today, the organisation focuses its giving efforts in three impact areas: families, children, and education.
